Adult/CAMHS Outpatient Psychologist

CAMHS Professionals are currently recruiting for a full time or part time Clinicial Psychologist to join our client’s team based in Brighton on a 6 - 12 month locum contract. The client will also consider a Counselling Psychologist for this position.

About the position: 
You'll join our client's outpatient team in Brighton, which offers assessments and psychological outpatient services for Adults, Children and Adolescents between Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm. Minimum of 2 days a week would be required (15hrs).

This role involves:

  • MDT reviews and other meetings, as appropriate
  • Ensuring that reports and other correspondence are entered into the relevant notes and communicated to other professionals as appropriate
  • Responsible for the collection and analysis of routine outcome measures

Applicant requirements:

  • Hold a doctorate in either Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • HCPC Registered
  • The right to work in the UK

Key responsibilities:

  • Assessing and evaluating patients to determine psychological need, including providing psychometric testing and diagnosis of conditions where appropriate
  • Developing individualised patient care plans
  • Being responsible for implementing a range of psychological interventions for patients
  • Providing specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals as appropriate, including undertaking risk assessment and risk management for individual patients
  • Attending as required, case conferences, MDT reviews and other meetings, as appropriate
  • Ensuring that reports and other correspondence are entered into the relevant notes and communicated to other professionals as appropriate
  • Responsible for the collection and analysis of routine outcome measures
