Lead Psychologist (Remote)

CAMHS Professionals are currently recruiting for a full time suitably qualified and experienced Lead Psychologist with experience in risk management, service development and at least 5 years post qualification experience in working with children and adolescents. The suitable candidate must have excellent communication and writing skills and a good understanding of the challenges and benefits of remote mental health support. The post holder will report to the CEO and COO.

1 day a month F2F meeting in South Coast area

About the position: 
As the Lead Psychologist for our client, you will be responsible for the clinical leadership of online counselling and mental health services provided by the service.

This role involves:

  • Working with children and young people
  • Practicing digitally, including establishing and maintaining a positive therapeutic alliance in online work
  • Using knowledge of leadership and consultation as it relates to services' digital interventions

Applicant requirements:

  • Managerial experience
  • Hold a doctorate in either Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • HCPC Registered
  • The right to work in the UK

Key responsibilities:

  • Recruitment, onboarding and induction
  • Clinical safety, clinical incident and risk management
  • Safeguarding, escalation and reporting for the counselling and psychology team
  • Professional development, clinical training, supervision and clinical appraisal for all practitioners
  • Clinical information governance, privacy and confidentiality
