Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

CAMHS Professionals are currently recruiting for ongoing full time/part time Psychological wellbeing Practitioners on a 6 - 12 month locum contract.


About the position: 
This position will be working within the NHS.

This role includes:

  • Delivering assessments and treatments
  • Knowledge of the stepped care model
  • Experience using silver cloud/ IAPTUS
  • Providing face to face/telephone therapy

Applicant Requirements:

  • 2 years post graduate experience
  • Postgraduate certificate in low intensity intervention
  • IAPT experience desired
  • High standards in written and oral communication
  • Compliance: Up to date DBS, training and immunisations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting clients who have experienced anxiety, depression and trauma
  • Providing high volume, low intensity interventions , such as psycho-educational interventions, guided self-help and computerised CBT
  • Liaise with external agencies including housing, police, local authority, employers and employment support workers
  • Make accurate assessments of the risk patients pose to themselves and others
